Choose backgrounds, text, borders and hover colors. Empty backgrounds preserve the theme; empty text uses automatic readable white or black when a background is set.

Try HEX or RGB colors, prepared swatches, contrast warnings and named personal or shared presets.

A focused accent module

Supports the standard Magento 2 Admin theme. Custom Admin themes and Adobe Commerce are not certified. This is not a complete theme: it adds no dark mode, logos or environment badges. Errors, warnings, destructive actions and disabled controls retain their native styles.

Free, offline and under your control

MIT licensed. Stoneholl Core 1.x is required and stays offline. Connector is optional. No Stoneholl account, pairing or paid entitlement is required. The module sends no telemetry; global and personal settings stay in Magento 2. This website demo uses temporary browser memory only.

Install with Composer

Run composer require stoneholl/module-admin-accent-color:^1.2, then bin/magento module:enable Stoneholl_Core Stoneholl_AdminAccentColor, bin/magento setup:upgrade and bin/magento cache:flush. Follow your deployment-mode requirements for DI compilation and static assets. Open Stores > Configuration > Stoneholl > Admin Accent Color. Set Enabled to Yes, choose your palette and Save Config.

Compatibility, without guesswork

Release documentation records Magento Open Source 2.3.7-p4 / PHP 7.4.33 and Magento Open Source 2.4.9 / PHP 8.5.9 runtime checks. Intermediate supported Magento/PHP combinations remain declarations, not a claim that every combination was tested. Requires the standard Magento 2 Admin theme and Stoneholl Core ^1.0.

Can I customize Magento2 Admin colors before installing?

Try buttons, tabs, menus and links in this page’s palette demo. It uses temporary browser settings; install Admin Accent Color to apply the feature in Magento 2.

Do I need a Stoneholl account?

No. Install the free module directly through Packagist and Composer.

Does the website change my Magento 2 settings?

No. The interactive preview runs locally in this page and never connects to a Magento 2 installation. Reloading clears demo presets and settings.

Can each administrator use different colors?

Yes. Enable Allow Personal Overrides, then use My Account > Configure My Accent Colors in Magento 2.
